What if there were a tool available to help teachers and caretakers of young people and adults to allow them a way to experiment with color, shapes & sounds and assign a visual & auditory representation of their emotions while alleviating stress and anxiety, and being able to capture this feedback and use it to help understand the emotional states, and help better inform treatment approaches.

I spoke with a series of mental health & special needs focused healthcare professionals in order to understand what kind of tool they could use to better communicate with, capture emotional feedback in the moment, and to be able to better understand & empathize with their patients and students.

Truly empathizing, and understanding the hurdles that both caretaker/teacher & patient/student encounter each day, was the biggest part of understanding the approach and the main reason for the original concept for this project.

I'm still running usability tests in my spare time, and have continued to refine and improve the intended approach, and have begun building a rough prototype, with the intent to enter a Beta phase by the end of the year (2021).
